All about Angeldevil
How it all began:
I was nuts, really.
How it happened was this: In the late summer of 2004 (not long after I joined deviantART as *Agent-Elrond ) I looked around and thought "hey, there are, like, no comics with not-sexy girl-heroes in them! This sucks! I better change things."
So I made Angeldevil.
The Story and Setting:
The story is set in Antellonia, a fantasy world of my own creation. Though the manga explores only a tiny corner of it, geographically speaking, it also involves many of the other-reality dimensions, Faerie-lands, and even the realms of a major religion. All that being said, most of it is set in Redling, the capitol city of a country called Kyreland which, in landscape and culture, is comparable to England, and so appears (relatively) normal to our eyes.
This story is (like so many others) about a boy, but it is also (unlike the rest) about the demonic girl he finds buried under a church. It is also about fate, and how to break it; how to think in extraordinary circumstances, and the importance of being nice to elves.
The Plan:
At the time of this writing there are no less than fifty-three completed chapters of Angeldevil, some of which have been posted on deviantART before. Having worked on it continuously for the past four years, I have quite a bit of back-logged material. The reason I'm not posting it all at once is because it is all RAW material. That is to say: it has not been lettered or set into nice, easy-to-read pages. Not to mention, fifty-three chapters, at twenty pages a piece, makes for an intimidating pile.
So I'm going to take things slower. The account will be updated with a chapter of Angeldevil once every other Friday, starting at the beginning, and proceeding on until I catch up with myself. This will give me time to continue working on new chapters, and clean and type-set old ones for people to read.
Also, I will be taking small breaks between volumes to release all the chapters as comic books that people can buy and read in the comfort of Not-Hunched-Over-Your-Flickering-Monitor.
So that's that. I hope you enjoy your reading, and check back often to see the latest update!
All pages of Angeldevil posted on the internet will be licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 License, meaning I won't sue you if you upload pages to your own website or whatever just so long as you let me know and give credit.
All content and characters, however, ARE © me, that is, Grace Ogawa/*Agent-Elrond and ~AngeldevilManga, which means that if you swipe my stuff and claim it as your own you will be in deep demonic doodoo.
HOWEVER: making fanart of my characters and whatnot is PERFECTLY ACCEPTABLE. The only thing I ask (and it's more of a request) is that you note me if you do fanart so I can go favorite it. :3

Devious Comments
Your name is Grace Ogawa?
*is in shock*
Well, so far I like what I've seen, and this webcomic might revitalize my love for Friday.
And, in regards to the rough artwork...even Takahashi started off looking like crap. I mean, comparing volume 1 of InuYasha to the latest chapters on the internet, and it's as if a completely different artist took over for her. It's understandable that the stuff you drew in 2004 will look...less-polished than the stuff you have now.
Still, I concentrate on stories and plotlines in manga; artwork always comes second. Angeldevil is proving itself to be quite interesting, so it's all good!
Can't wait for next Friday!

I still prefer people to call me Agent Elrond, Elrond, Rondie, etc. on the internet though.
I figured posting it on Friday would be good, because then it's up just in time for the weekend. ^^
